Elite Security is proud to have Lee Donohue leading our staff into a new beginning.  Lee joined the Honolulu Police Department in 1964 when he was 21 years old and spent most of his career in field patrol and field operations.  In 1998, he was appointed Chief of Police, leading HPD into the 21st century.  After 40 years of service to the community, Lee retired and began a new career in the private sector.  “The best thing about being the Chief of Police was being able to make an impact on programs, not only for police officers, but for the community,” says Donohue.

VICE-PRESIDENT - HAWAII OPERATIONS

Alika Desha heads our Big Island Operations and operates out of West Hawaii. (Kona)  Alika brings 32 years of Police experience to the Elite Ohana. After joining the Honolulu Police Department in 1970, he spent a majority of his career working in plain-clothes units that included Special Street Crimes, Gambling, Morals and Narcotic Units. In 1990 up onto his retirement in 1999, Alika was assigned to the departments elite Criminal Intelligence Unit working with the Specialized Electronics Surveillance Section.

VICE-PRESIDENT - MAUI OPERATIONS

The final member of our team is John Palazzotto, a 25year veteran of Law Enforcement. John began his career with the Honolulu Police Department in 1972 working with Patrol Division and served on the Solo Motorcycle Detail. In 1979, he transferred to the Maui Police Department and retired in 1994 as a Lieutenant for the traffic and Communications Division. Upon his retirement, John worked as the Security Director for the Ritz-Carlton hotel chain in Maui and Las Vegas along with managing RKE Inc. (Alarm Co.) in Maui.

Ikaika and Nohea Baptista handle our "day to day" operations both in the office and the field assuring a "stress free" environment. Their Ohana values strengthens their commitment in making a difference in peoples lives. Together, they ensure that our families of Elite CCustomers are well taken cared for.
